Murray Family Farms

On our way home from Bakersfield we stopped at Murray Family Farms where you can pick your own fruits.
There were blackberries, blueberries, plums, apricots, pluots, and figs.
They also had delicious pineapple watermelon which was just yellow inside, but super sweet.
Out of everyone I think Livvy and I enjoyed it the most.
She ate all the blueberries we picked, by herself.
We definitely need a garden.  I think it will be a great chore for Livvy to have to tend it.  I can't wait to eat fresh fruits and vegetables that we grow ourselves!

Livvy is so funny! Its very rare to get kids to eat their fruits and veggies but Livvy loves em. You taught her well you will have to teach me the tricks of the trade!

OK, OK, i need to calm down so I don't sound like a huge nerd.....but they had Pluots???!!! Did you buy some? How were they? Did they have any other hybrid fruits?
I know it's kind of weird, but those are the coolest things ever, way better than v8 fusion :)
Anyway, I'm glad you had such a fun trip.

livvy would be so great a tending a garden. she would love it. and gardens always grow better when they are loved!!

i just noticed for the first time, how much pres and ave look alike in the crib picture!! i've never thought so until now. i'm sure the fact that they're making the same face helps.

Hi again! Yes, I think some of the doors might have had glass panels in them. There were a few there. They were in the southwest corner of the sale. Hope that makes sense. If you can't figure out whose they are don't worry! I will just wait until your next sale. I am just kicking myself for not buying a few more things. Next time I won't take my husband with me :)

Hi Lindsay!
I have had so much fun looking over your blog and, after visiting for a while the other day, seeing more of what is going on in your life these days. I am absolutely inspired by your thoughts and tickled by all the fun pictures of your girls and the stories about them. We got so into the depth of our much enjoyed conversation the other day that I apparently still don't know a lot of what you're up to! You will have to tell me more about this gathering and selling of treasures you appear to be doing! Well, that's enough from me for now but I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed seeing you and I am thrilled to be able to keep in touch again.
Love,
Mandy
