Nie and I got together just before school started to let the girls make some bracelets out of vintage buttons.  Here is Nie sporting one for herself.  This is what inspired the white one up for auction.

I am so happy to be participating in the silent auction for Nie Nie Day!  Stephanie and I have grow to be close friends and I love her and her beautiful family so very much.  She is just an amazing person!  Every bit of joy, warmth, and happiness that she spreads thru her blog, is the exact person she is everyday!   She has helped me in so many ways.  I feel blessed to call her friend!

Beloved Nie

prayers pass it on

Nie and I have become very close and we have a special friendship, she and her family are people that I care about deeply. Nie and her husband along with a flight instructor were recently in a terrible plane crash. Please keep her and her husband Christian in your prayers, and their whole family as well as they begin the long painful journey to recovery. Please pray for the instructor and his family. If you would like to read about and keep updated on how the family is doing you can check with Stephanie's sister cjane. Also please read what my sister Niki has said. I know first hand how the power of prayer works. I feel so blessed to know that thru the love of our Father in Heaven we can be comforted. I know what a special gift we have all been given by our Saviors atoning sacrifice. I am so grateful to have strength from my conviction in knowing that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is ture.

Before school starts..

We have tried to do some fun things before school starts like...

make pizzas
have a taffy pull
which ended up turning out more like a dinner mint than taffy, but still good
We had so much fun while Rocco was in town!  Now we are off for a night in the cabin!  Gotta pack it all in before Livvy is at school everyday!

Being inspired and getting creative

Lazy

Just been hanging out enjoying lazy summer days, before its all over next week.  Also counting down the days till we hit the beach, so I can take care of my lack of a tan.
